This is a shot of Bella Coola from a helicopter looking to the west. The airstrip can be seen in the middle of the photo. Flying out is a great way to get a new perspective on the area!
Bella Coola River is the main artery running through the valley bringing tens of thousands of salmon throughout the year to spawn and maintain a healthy grizzly bear population.
